The postponed Allianz Hurling League clash between Waterford and Tipperary has been re-fixed for this Sunday at Azzurri Walsh Park (throw-in 2pm).
The Division 1A sixth round encounter had been scheduled for yesterday (Sunday) at 3.15pm at the same venue, but was postponed following the passing of Benny Kiely, father of Waterford corner forward Mikey on Saturday.
The GAA has confirmed this afternoon that the re-fixture will now be played this Sunday, March 15th at the Waterford ground where TG4’s cameras will be to stream the game their app and website, with deferred coverage later on television.
Both sides go into the game with four points on the table along with Kilkenny who have moved into the top tier’s drop zone following their heavy defeat to Galway on Saturday.
