Former Tipperary star Seamus Callanan showed he still very much has it with a wonder goal for Drom & Inch during their emphatic county SHC quarter-final win over Moycarkey-Borris this afternoon.
Drom & Inch were leading by 4-18 to 1-25 at Semple Stadium when David Butler found Callanan inside with a flick between the legs and the corner-forward was able to finish to the top corner of Moycarkey-Borris’s despite sitting on the ground while he struck the sliotar (watch it below).
The final scoreline would read 7-23 to 1-28 after extra time in Thurles, advancing Drom & Inch into the semi-finals of the Dan Breen Cup race where Holycross/Ballycahill and Loughmore-Castleiney booked their place on Saturday thanks to respective victories over Cashel King Cormacs (4-23 to 2-17) and Toomevara (3-22 to 2-20).
The remaining SHC quarter-final in the Premier County between Nenagh Eire Og and Kilruane MacDonaghs got underway at 4.30pm in Thurles.

David Butler flicks it between his legs to Callanan, who sticks it top corner one handed while sitting down 🤣
