Heard nothing yet. Perhaps Malachy O'Rourke ? If he is not gone elsewhere already as an assistant manager.

One would assume there won't be any additions at this stage. Division 2 and the all ireland series is going to be a massive struggle next year.

Not only will Malachy O Rourke cost the county board too much money his philosophy is far removed from Colm O Rourkes, Colm will appoint from with in the county I'd imagine and he will probably wait till the championship is over.

Sorry RD - but Malachy O'Rourke! No chance - I'd say he is very happy in Glen - and looking forward to another craic at All Ireland club! He would be highly sought after - I can't see him come in as an assistant to anyone!

There will have to be an improvement in coaching going forward. If not we can forget any chance of improvement. WHO takes up the role/s is irrelevant ,as long as coaching is seen to be improving to meet the required standard. Personally i would not be too worried whether it was "BIG" name or not . As we have seen with our neighbours "BIG" names will jump ship when it suits. I think we should try to invest in "home" based people for further development by bringing in proven consultants if deemed necessary even . I think the journey forward is all about development to meet needs identified and further improvement and succession planning .

Robbie Brennan of Kilmacud Crokes is going to be a massive addition to Meath coaching.

Watch this space on where he will end up eventually....

Agree, he's done it all with Crokes. A challenge for him would be this Meath team and even working with the management

I think more so the latter, from what I hear.... ;o)

Anyway, looking 2-5years down the line and I would expect a big improvement, and he will be a big part of that improvement.

Very highly rated guy and will be some asset to have on board.

Adam McDonell , Ruairi Kinsella, Cathal Finnegan all worth a look at in pre season

Ah...............i think we have to allow the agreed time before judgement can be cast on the manager. I suggest needs clearly identified to date will dictate that coaching will need to improve ,and even MORE importantly that Training sessions will be structured to meet needs identified ,with coaching having a critical role here.Obviously the manager will no doubt oversee all this. I do believe learning to date will serve to clear a path and structure in these 2 areas leading to improvement

Have heard Kinsella and Finnegan are in the panel. Along with Jack Kinlough and James Conlon back on it. I'm sure Adam McDonnell would have been on it and will be on it if his knee injury isn't too serious

I think obric has competition from Gillespie to be the next boss. Whenever that may be. Connors tactics and reading of the modern game was outstanding on Sunday. Surely a future manager in wailing

Jumping the gun a little. He has a very good Summerhill team, in a championship with limited opposition. Tell me what he did on Sunday with his tactics and reading of the modern game that stood out? Summerhill simply wanted it more, Ratoath tired in extra time. I'm not sure it could be attributed to tactics or reading of the game? No doubt he's a good manager but to be next in line for a Meath job is a bit much
