Replying To latouche25:  "Predictions for the quarter finals,
Gael Colmcille v Tones, Colmcilles by 6. Tones an average team.
Trim v Na Fianna, Trim my tip to go all the way, putting up big scores.
Summerhill v Skryne, probably the closest game, Summerhill have enough to progress.
Ratoath v Moynalvy, Ratoath by 10 to big and strong with match winners everywhere"
Kells by 8 points, Tones are just average
Trim get their first proper game since coming up,
Be interesting and close, Na Fianna to edge it
Summerhill to just about get over Skryne
Ratoath begin the procession to being crowned kings with an exhibition match

Your kells bias shining through there latouche

Tones beat Kells last year at the same stage i believe (open to correction) and have been playing well again this year

Ratoath will be hard stopped, maybe Summerhill will be the closest to them

How are Clonard getting a quarter final?
Nice pitch ok, but have done nothing to work on a clubhouse and were unable to complete a competition this year, surely other clubs more deserving?

Yes I agree.

Surely Summerhill was the appropriate venue for Trim Na Fianna game.

Yes you are being corrected, Kells drew with the Tones last year in the first round, Kells humiliated them in the feis cup final. We drew with them again this year in the league and we played the entire game with 14 players and without several starter's. Tones don't have the bottle to beat Kells.

Clonard pitch is probably the best pitch in Meath now.

Best stewards, best parking facilities ( much more space than Trim and other big so called club facilities )

To take a match away from them because they are struggling at the present time is very unjust.

Clonard will bounce back and are a credit to all small clubs in Meath for what they have produced down there regarding facilities.

Their underage is going very well so they will be back competing in no time at Junior level.

Brilliant fixture for the supporters and as a Bracks Man I will certainly travel to it.

Did Simonstown not hammer Ballinabrakey last year in a knock out game and easily beat Tones in a Feis cup final towards the end of the year....

What a bonkers statement, there is nowhere near the parking facilities Trim have to host a game. It is out of the way for both Trim and Na fianna supporters and majority of people that aren't from Bracks.
The fact is there is not the proper dressing rooms, correct me if I'm wrong but no showering facilities?? And 0 cover if needed for any fans!
Game should be in Summerhill or Rathmolyon

Is it not that bit harder for Clonard to bounce back now that their best young player is playing for Ballinabrackey?

Yeah i think Kells championship experience and success will give them the edge over an "average" Tones as you described them. Kells have been hugely impressive in beating a formidable Simonstown outfit and Ashbourne before not showing their hand v Ratoath. Kells v Ratoath final

Who's that Joe? I know they lost Flanagan to Summerhill, but didn't think they'd another player coming through?

Was that knock out game the relegation game after the lost all three group games ? One of those Championship matches was a double digit defeat to Tones ?

Ah Brian, I thought you'd know our latouche25 by now.

And when you see latouche on the loose, the Analyst is never far behind!

Two of a kind.

Niall Smullen to Bracks from Clonard this year

Ye and once they got all their players back from injury later in the year they very easily dispatched Tones by 9 points in a final.

Very good of Ballinabrackey to take Clonards best young player off their hands. Must be a big commute between the two clubs.

Clonard's pitch is good, but "the best pitch in Meath" is ridiculous. It's the same quality as every other new sand based pitch in Meath.

To say their facilities are a credit is a stretch too, they've some of the worst dressing rooms in the county (certainly the worst new ones) and unless they've bought and surfaced more land since I was there earlier this year they certainly do not have a huge amount of parking.
