Lisa Fallon is set to join Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s backroom coaching staff with Galway's senior footballers for the 2027 season.
Fallon brings considerable coaching experience to the set-up, having previously worked with Jim Gavin’s Dublin team, winning an All-Ireland title in 2018. She has also held coaching roles in soccer with Galway United, Cork City and Chelsea Women.
Fitzmaurice was appointed Galway manager on a three-year term in September, succeeding Pádraic Joyce.
His backroom team is also set to include former Galway players Gary O’Donnell and Gareth Bradshaw, Galway U20 manager Kevin Johnston and David Morris, who worked under Joyce.
