The draw has taken place for the Kerry SFC preliminary rounds.

East Kerry - whose star man is Fossa's David Clifford - have been handed a bye in the opening round which features the seven district sides. In Round 1, West Kerry take on St Brendan's, Mid Kerry meet North Kerry and St Kieran's face South Kerry.

The loser of St Kieran's v South Kerry will face East Kerry in Round 2, while the loser of West Kerry v St Brendan's and Mid Kerry v North Kerry will also meet.

Meanwhile, holders Dr Crokes and Na Gaeil - who both received byes following the completion of the group phase - will face off in one of the Kerry club SFC semi-finals on the weekend of September 12/13.

The other semi-final will feature the winners of this weekend's quarter-finals which see Kenmare Shamrocks take on Milltown/Castlemaine and Austin Stacks go up against Rathmore.
