The opening round of the All-Ireland senior football championship gets underway on Saturday afternoon with a repeat of last year’s final between Kerry and Donegal.

GAA+ will show the blockbuster clash live from Killarney’s Fitzgerald Stadium (3pm) and then live stream the showdown between Cork and Meath at Pairc Ui Rinn (5.30pm) before the day’s Sam Maguire Cup games conclude with Galway versus Kildare at Pearse Stadium (7.30pm), where RTE’s cameras will be.

On Sunday, Connacht champions Roscommon host Tyrone in what promises to be an intriguing All-Ireland SFC first round encounter at Dr Hyde Park (2pm), which will be shown by GAA+, as will the Tailteann Cup Round 2A meeting between Fermanagh and Wexford (1pm).

In the provincial hurling championships, there are 2pm throw ins for Dublin and Kilkenny (RTE) and Kildare and Offaly (GAA+) in Leinster, while the clash of Cork and Clare (4pm) in Munster will be shown live from Pairc Ui Chaoimh by RTE.
