
Round 1 of the Cup football competitions will hopefully come to a close tomorrow night. The wet weather conditions have played havoc with the opening round.
Rathkenny travel to Dunshaughlin in the remaining game of the Feis Cup. Led by Keith Curtis the Black and Reds caused a major upset in round 1 of last years SFC.
There are two games remaining in the Corn na Boinne. Tomorrow night sees the clash of Navan neighbours O’Mahonys and Walterstown. Last years JFC winners meet last years IFC semi finalists in Carlanstown.
Junior B champions St. Mary’s begin life in the Junior A grade with a home fixture against Dunderry in the Tailteann Cup.
Round two of the Cup and Shield competitions begins next Friday.
