After two absorbing games of hurling last Sunday supporters will make their way back to Pairc Tailteann tomorrow for the Senior B and the Senior A hurling championship final replays.
Longwood and Killyon will get proceedings underway in the Senior B final. Both teams served up a very entertaining game despite the miserable conditions. Holders Longwood fought back to level matters and could have won in injury time. Expect more drama and a higher scoring encounter in the replay.
The senior final was a game for the ages. Played in very difficult conditions the hurlers of Kiltale and Ratoath should be commended for their displays. A game that had it all. When Cian Rogers netted it looked like the holders were make it two in a row. Kiltale didn’t lie down. Feargal McCabe’s goal looked like it had winner written all over it but credit to Andrew Dewrmody’s men, they refused to panic and Podge McGowan sent over his 6th point of the afternoon.
Expect more of the same on Saturday.
