Pat Ryan and John Cleary could be reappointed as Cork senior hurling and football manager respectively at a county board meeting tonight.

Ryan’s initial three-year term in charge of the hurlers ended with last month’s All-Ireland SHC final loss to Tipperary. While the manner of the defeat was hugely disappointing, the Rebels could take solace from winning the Allianz League and Munster SHC titles earlier in the season.

Cleary has also completed his three-year term as football boss, having initially taken over from Keith Ricken on an interim basis in 2022. The Rebels narrowly missed out on promotion from Division 2 of the Allianz League before being knocked out of the All-Ireland race at the preliminary quarter-final stage by Dublin.

Meanwhile, Antrim's search for a new football manager is set to continue after former Derry sharpshooter Paddy Bradley reportedly withdrew from the race.
