Tipperary attacker Jake Morris says the Premier men are coming up against a team in “really red-hot form” in Cork in this Sunday’s All-Ireland senior hurling championship final.

Tipp face the Rebels in a Liam MacCarthy Cup decider for the first time ever, with Liam Cahill side’s ranked as 11/4 outside to deny their neighbours what would be a first triumph on this stage in two decades.

Speaking to Tipp FM this week, Morris said he has plenty of experience playing against Cork in finals at underage level and knows Tipp will have to be on top form this weekend.

“We’ve played each other in a lot of finals coming up along, the 2018 Munster and All-Ireland U21, 2019 Munster and All-Ireland finals, they beat us in the minor and it’s probably been the same crop of players,” said the Nenagh Éire Óg clubman.

“They’ve brought through a nice crew of that 2018 U21 team so we’re probably well used to playing each other.

“I will say to be fair to them, they are a really dangerous team in really red-hot form and we’re going to have to be set up well and prepared well to give ourselves a chance of getting this job done.”
