Frayne leads the way

Captain Eoghan Frayne led Meath to their first Leinster minor football championship title since 2018 last night in Cusack Park Mullingar.

The inspirational leader was also Meath’s top scorer in the four championship games to date. The full forward kicked 20 points for the Royals during the campaign and finished 10 ahead of Ruairi Kinsella.

John McCarthy’s troops hit an impressive 7-43 during the extended campaign that started with a 1-15 to 0-7 win over Dublin on October 17th in Pairc Tailteann and conceded just 2-27.
