Meath 1-7 Offaly 1-6
Meath claimed their 12th Leinster MFC title after this narrow win over Offaly at TEG Cusack Park.
In a low scoring encounter the Royals held a 0-4 to 0-2 interval lead. A Liam Stafford goal gave Meath a 1-5 to 0-3 lead at the second water break.
Offaly began to dominate and a Pauric Robbins goal after 48 minutes along with two points from Jamie Guing levelled the game.
John McCarthy's side dug deep and points from Ruairi Kinsella and Frayne sealed a memorable win for the boys in Green and Gold.
The winners can now turn their attention to an All Ireland semi final date against Derry or Monaghan on Saturday July 10th.
