Galbally have signalled their 2026 Tyrone SFC ambitions with the appointment of Ruairí Lavery as their new manager.
Lavery famously led his home club Clann Éireann to an Armagh SFC and SFL Division 1A double last year before coming up short against eventual champions Errigal Ciarán in the Ulster club SFC semi-final. Galbally have established themselves a formidable senior outfit in Tyrone since gaining promotion in 2022 when they went all the way to the All-Ireland club IFC final.
Lavery, whose backroom team includes David O’Connor (coach), Stephen Shanks (S&C) and Keith Waters (goalkeeper coach), replaces Gavin McGilly at the Pearses helm.
