St Martin’s booked their place into the Leinster club senior hurling championship final against Ballyhale Shamrocks thanks to a 0-21 to 0-11 win against Naas at Chadwicks Wexford Park this afternoon.

The back-to-back Wexford champions flew out of the traps to open up a 0-9 to 0-2 lead by the 15th minute, with Rory O’Connor, who finished with 0-14, in fine scoring form for them early on.

The hosts would go on to lead by 0-15 to 0-5 at the break and the second-half saw Naas starting brightly with their talisman Jack Sheridan to the fore for them.

However, the Kildare champions wouldn’t be able close the gap as Rory O’Connor and Jack O’Connor kept the scores flowing for St Martin’s to close out a double digit victory in the end.

Having ousted All-Ireland champions Na Fianna last time out, the win sends St Martin's into their first Leinster club SHC final against Ballyhale on December 6th at Croke Park.
