Four GAA stadiums are set to host Garth Brooks concerts next summer after the American country music star announced a five-city Irish tour for 2027.

Brooks will play 10 concerts across Ireland in May and June, with two shows scheduled at each of Pearse Stadium in Galway, UPMC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny, the TUS Gaelic Grounds in Limerick and SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork. Belfast's Boucher Road will also host two dates.

The concerts could have an impact on the GAA fixture calendar, particularly the All-Ireland football championship, with the Galway shows on May 29th and 30th presenting a potential scheduling clash.

The Kilkenny, Limerick and Cork concerts are scheduled for June 4-5th, 11-12th and 18-19th respectively.

Cork GAA have already indicated that should the county's senior footballers have a home fixture in the third round of the Sam Maguire Cup on the weekend of June 18-19, the game would instead be played at Páirc Uí Rinn.

Brooks last performed in Ireland in 2022 when he played five sold-out concerts at Croke Park.

Tickets for the 2027 shows go on sale at 8am on Thursday, November 12th.
