Dublin will travel to London on Saturday, December 13th to face Michael Maher’s Exiles in a challenge match at McGovern Park, Ruislip.
Ger Brennan’s side will use the fixture as part of a training weekend as they begin preparations for the 2027 season, while London will have the opportunity to test themselves against opposition who reached this year’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final.
Maher welcomed the announcement, describing the fixture as a valuable test for his players.
“It’s brilliant; it’s a great game for us against a prestigious opponent and one we’re really looking forward to,” the London boss is quoted saying by theirishworld.com.
“Ger says they’ll be bringing a full panel so our lads will get the chance to challenge themselves against Division 1 players and a team that reached an All-Ireland semi-final.”
It will be Dublin’s first return to Ruislip since May 2011, when Pat Gilroy brought his side to London for a training weekend. Brennan was part of that squad, which went on to win the All-Ireland title later that year.
