Manager Cathal Murray is thrilled that Galway have qualified for a third successive All-Ireland senior camogie championship final.

The O’Duffy Cup holders advanced to another decider date with Cork on August 9th by virtue of Saturday’s battling semi-final victory over Kilkenny at Semple Stadium.

“Yeah we're delighted. It’s a big deal to get to the All-Ireland final. It’s our third in a row and we knew we’d have an awful battle with Kilkenny, but we really showed up. It was good,” the victorious manager told RTE after the game.

“We were worried coming in, obviously, with the way they were playing, at six games unbeaten. We weren’t sure where we were, but … really, really good performance.

“I’m really proud of the players and delighted to win it.”
