Next week’s quarter-final fixtures for the Fitzgibbon Cup have been confirmed following UCC’s win over Garda College in Templemore yesterday (Thursday).

The Cork students scored a 4-19 to 1-21 victory over the hosts, with Darragh Stakelum, Ed McDermott, Hugh O'Connor and Colin Walsh netting the goals for the winners.

It means UCC now face holders UL away in the quarter-finals next Wednesday evening, with MTU Cork hosting DCU and UCD paying a visit to MIC Limerick. Tuesday evening sees University of Galway welcome SETU Waterford to Dangan.
