The group stage of the Limerick senior hurling championship is set to reach its conclusion tonight (Thursday) with six games taking place across the county.

The Group 1 fixtures throw in at 8pm, while the three Group 2 games get underway at 6.15pm, with several quarter-final and relegation places still to be decided.

In Group 2, Kildimo-Pallaskenry must beat Patrickswell to keep their hopes of avoiding relegation alive, while they will also need Newcastle West to lose to Adare to force a play-off.

At the other end of the group, Adare can secure their quarter-final place with a positive result against Newcastle West, while Patrickswell need victory and other results to go their way to progress.

There is also plenty at stake in Group 1, where Ahane will need a result against last year’s runners up Doon to avoid being dragged into the relegation battle.

Kilmallock have already secured top spot and a semi-final place in the John Daly Cup race ahead of their meeting with Monaleen.

All six games are set to be streamed live on Limerick GAA TV through StreamSport.
