Tyrone recorded their third win in Division 3 of the Allianz Hurling League this afternoon by seeing off already relegated Armagh on a 3-22 to 0-11 scoreline in Garvaghey.

Turlough Mullin, Kiefer Morgan and Aidy Little all netted goals in the first-half for the Red Hands as they went on to record a 20-point victory and end their league campaign in style.

Meanwhile, Sligo ensured an immediate return to Division 3 by earning a straight win in their Division 4 campaign by demolishing Cavan.

It finished 8-19 to 0-11 in Enniscrone, where Andrew Kilcullen started for the hosts with 3-7 while Gerard O’Kelly-Lynch and Thomas Cawley each bagged a brace of goals.

The result means that Yeats men are now safely through the Division 4 final ahead of their final round clash against Longford who were held to a 0-16 to 1-13 draw by Warwickshire at Páirc na hÉireann.

The Exiles had been four points up with as many minutes remaining in normal time before Ruben Murray (free) and Martin Farrell grabbed the last two scores for the Midlanders to avoid defeat.

In Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim cruised to their fourth win of the Division 4 campaign by handing bottom-placed Lancashire a 2-28 to 0-15 defeat, with James McNabola and Daniel Miller bagging the home side’s goals either side of half-time.
