Paddy Carr has returned to management after his short stint in charge of Donegal.

Carr resigned after only five months as Donegal boss earlier this year, with selector Aidan O’Rourke stepping up to replace him. The Ardee-based Carr has now been confirmed as manager of Louth club St Kevin’s, who have wished him well for the coming season.

“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Paddy Carr as the new manager for our Men's Team for the 2024 season,” the Philipstown club said in a social media post.

“Paddy Carr is a renowned figure in Gaelic football, both as a former player and an accomplished manager. His remarkable journey includes leading Kilmacud Crokes to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship.

"Paddy has managed teams across Louth, Meath, and Dublin, bringing a wealth of experience from his time with the Louth county team, Meath minor team, and his recent tenure as the Donegal senior footballers' manager.”
