Brendan Cummins has stepped down as Tipperary U20 hurling manager after five years in charge.
During his tenure, the legendary goalkeeper led Tipp to All-Ireland success last year and to two Munster titles in 2024 and '25. The Premier County also contested this year's Munster final, only to lose to eventual All-Ireland champions Clare in an penalty shootout.
“It has been an honour to work with so many wonderful players over the last five years,” Cummins is quoted as saying in The Irish Times.
“There was a nice symmetry with winning the All-Ireland last year as manager as it was the 30th anniversary from when I won an All-Ireland U21 as a player.
“There is so much potential within this group of players and it has been a privilege to be involved with them, but I think the time is right to hand the baton on."
Cummins will be in Croke Park on Sunday as part of Tipperary's silver jubilee All-Ireland SHC winning team of 2001 that will be presented to the crowd before the All-Ireland final between Galway and Limerick.
