Tyrone are on the lookout for a new senior hurling manager after Stephen McGarry stepped down in the wake of last Saturday’s Nickey Rackard Cup final loss to New York.
McGarry has completed three years at the helm, having previously served as a coach under his Ballycastle club colleague Michael McShane.
“Tyrone GAA wishes to announce that Stephen McGarry has stepped down from his position as Senior Hurling Manager following the completion of his three‑year term,” a county board statement read.
“Stephen has served with commitment, professionalism, and integrity throughout his tenure. His dedication to the players, management team, and Tyrone County Board has been evident in every aspect of his work. We acknowledge and sincerely appreciate the significant time, energy, and leadership he has given to the role.
“On behalf of Tyrone GAA, we extend our thanks to Stephen for his service and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
