Donegal manager Jim McGuinness has been dealt a blow with the news that Daire Ó Baoill is set to be sidelined for the next couple of weeks.
DonegalLive.ie reports that the Gaoth Dobhair clubman has suffered a hand injury and is currently in a cast which rules him out of the Ulster champions’ Allianz League showdown against Mayo in Letterkenny this Sunday (1.45pm).
Ó Baoill has been among the Donegal’s best performers on the field thus far this season, scoring 1-2 in the win over All-Ireland champions Kerry last time out.
There’s no timeline yet as to when the key attacker will be back available for the Tir Chonaill men as they look to continue their winning ways this weekend against a Mayo side also unbeaten thus far in their Division 1 campaign.
