The draw for the All-Ireland senior football championship semi-finals will take place on Sunday after the last of the weekend’s quarter-finals between Dublin and Galway, if required.

The only way a draw will not be necessary is if Mayo, Tyrone and Monaghan all win their games at the weekend.

Croke Park hold an open draw for the semi-finals and look to avoid repeat pairings from earlier rounds in the championship, where possible.

It means that Mayo cannot play Tyrone or Monaghan again in the semi-finals, so should those teams win their respective quarter-finals, then Mayo will meet the winners of Dublin and Galway in the last four.

Having already played each other in the Munster final earlier this summer, Kerry can’t play Cork should they both progress, and the same goes for a potential Dublin versus Louth clash having already met twice in this year’s championship.

If a semi-final draw is needed, then it will be conducted shortly after the conclusion of Dublin versus Galway, which throws in at 4pm on Sunday at Croke Park.

This weekend’s All-Ireland SFC quarter-final fixtures are as follows:

Saturday, June 27th

All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals
Cork v Mayo, Croke Park, 4pm - GAA+
Kerry v Tyrone, Croke Park, 6.15pm - GAA+

Sunday, June 28th

Louth v Monaghan, Croke Park, 1.45pm - RTÉ
