Katie Mullane showed why she’s a chip off the old block with a Player of the Match performance for Waterford in their All-Ireland U16 ‘A’ Shield camogie triumph last Saturday.
The daughter of Deise hurling legend John scored 1-5 to help her side to a 3-11 to 0-10 victory over Offaly in the final at UPMC Nowlan Park.
Katie’s De La Salle clubmate Jodie Whelan also bagged two goals for the winners who were out of sight by half-time.
