Two of Kerry's famous Ó Sé brothers will manage the county's minor and U20 football teams in 2026.

While Tomás is remaining at the U20 helm for a fourth year, younger sibling Marc has been appointed as the new Kerry minor manager in succession to Wayne Quillinan. It will be Marc's first step into inter-county management, having previously coached Listry and Listowel Emmetts at club level, and Tralee CBS in the Corn Uí Mhuirí.

Both brothers have been handed two-year terms. Along with older brother Darragh, Tomás and Marc have won a combined 16 Celtic Crosses - Darragh winning six, Tomás five and Marc five.

Tomás's backroom team includes Mark Fitzgerald (Kerins O’Rahilly’s), Maurice Horan (Kerins O’Rahilly’s) and Mike Frank Russell (Laune Rangers), while Niall O’Mahony (Spa), Ronan McAuliffe (Gneeveguilla), Noel Kennelly (Listowel Emmets) and Cathal Moriarty (Miltown/Castlemaine) will be part of Marc's minor management.

Brian Sargent from Tralee Parnells was also ratified as Kerry minor hurling manager at last night's county board meeting, and will be assisted by Conor Bohane (Abbeydorney), Martin Daly (St. Brendan’s), James McCarthy (Kilmoyley) and David O’ Grady (Ballyduff). The U20 hurling management will be appointed at a later date.
