Rising Dublin football star Charlie McMorrow has been linked with a move to the AFL.

According to the Irish Independent, the versatile Cuala clubman was one of up to 20 GAA players who attended a combine held by AFL club Richmond in Athlone on Monday. Fellow Dublin panellist Tim Deering. Leitrim's Barry McNulty and Kerry U20 stars Evan Boyle and Daniel Kirby are also understood to have attended.  

Earlier this month, it was reported that Dublin teenage sensation Cian Raftery is being tracked by five AFL clubs after he scored 2-20 in three Leinster MFC games this year. The 16-year-old from Whitehall Colmcille is eligible for the minor grade again next year.

The GAA recently lost one of its brightest prospects to Aussie Rules when Kobe McDonald joined St Kilda on a three-year contract after helping Mayo to end their 75-year wait for the Sam Maguire.
