Con O’Callaghan could miss Dublin’s Allianz Football League Division 1 clash with Roscommon on Sunday with a hamstring injury.

The injury forced the Dublin captain and talisman to retire at half-time in last Saturday night’s defeat to Kerry at Croke Park and makes him a major doubt for the trip to King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park to face the high-flying Rossies.

“Con tweaked his hamstring. Con being Con, he wanted to push on. But with the bigger picture in mind, we just said we’d be better off pulling him out,” Dublin manager Ger Brennan explained.

With just one win from their first four games, the Dubs currently occupy one of the relegation places along with point-less Monaghan.
