St Eunan’s are through to the Donegal senior football championship final after a 2-18 to 1-19 victory over Gaoth Dobhair last night in Ballybofey.
The Letterkenny side raced into a 1-9 to 0-0 lead inside the opening 15 minutes at MacCumhaill Park, with Dylan Doogan finishing a well worked goal for the 2024 champions.
Gaoth Dobhair fought back strongly as county man Daire Ó Baoill converted a penalty before half-time.
Ciaran Moore’s second-half goal proved crucial as St Eunan’s held on despite late pressure.
They will face either Naomh Conaill or Glenswilly in the county final, with their semi-final down for decision at 4pm today.
