I am well aware of what John has done but many seem to forget when it suits them. I don't have to think before before I leap it might have suited you better to explain what he has done over the years. I know what he has done and I wish him well for next Sunday and the rest involved. I have defended the man where others are trying to dig knifes deep in his back jealously springs to mind. Should they lose next Sunday they will be talking about them long after I am dead just like the 74 team but please god they go all the way despite those that have tried to block him.

It's also in my nature to defend those that deserve to be defended. You will find I have a reputation for standing up for people when others are stabbing them in the back.

So now you want to give the credit to others instead of the present management I wonder why. John Brady John Young are proven trophy winners I don't know much about the others on the backroom team but I am sure young Jack has won several quality medals over the last few years and the young lads must surely have respect for those helping. No praise to anyone else except of course the players who are a great bunch of lads and have shut most of the bedgrudgers up and long may it continue. Jesus if they win Sunday and I have no reason to think they cannot who will people dig up to start giving credit too. John Brady and John Young have been a long time around and have I would say nearly seen every potential minor for the last five years if not more. I saw them both for years watching matches so they did their background for sure. The Brady family have some history behind them and it shows."
Exactly when did "Young Jack" come on board with the Minors?

Young Jack will be taking no credit for any success but I am sure he can help out his father if it helps don't you.
A little bit of senior experience will do no harm at all.
He is helping like any son would do where possible and no finer young man to do so.

The current Chairman Gerry Brady was on the 1974 minor team that beat London in the quarter final and lost to Mayo in the final.
Hopefully Sundayvwe will put in a performance and if we can keep the score down to 5/6 points it won't be a bad days work .

No reason why this Cavan Minor team should lose this match and I am not expecting anything else but a win be positive.

That mentality is everything that is wrong with Cavan GAA and Indeed GAA in general at the moment. Where is the winning mentality?? We could learn a lot from Tyrone. Any Tyrone Team that goes to Croke Park will always believe they can win. They never have an inferiority complex. They go to win. This Sunday lets go to Croke Park on Sunday with that attitude . We earned our right to be there so lets go there to win and not worry about keeping the score down.

Go out and win and have all the winning mentality you like but the bottom like is if we keep it to 5/6 it will be a great days work.
Yes a win would be fantastic but I can't see it happening simply because Kerry are better. Much better.
That's no disrespect to us. It's just the reality of it.
I'd hate to see our lads get a hiding so in that respect keeping the score down to 5/6 would be an excellent days work considering the class and experience of that kerry team.

That's an idiotic post
You don't know that Kerry are that good
In fact you don't appreciate how good our players are
Derry are a great side we've played them so we know that. When we beat Kerry and if we meet Derry in the Final final then we can beat them.
We will have our strongest team on the field
Good luck to our lads don't mind the begrudgers

Cavan are going there to win and not keep the score down, These lad's I can tell you have nothing else on their mind but a win next Sunday no negativity at all. The poster talking about keeping the score down to 5 or 6 points you are not a Cavan supporter what an attitude to approach any match. By the way many other people that sit in the stand week on week played in that 74 minor match.

Look I've 2 racehorses . Every time they run I hope they win. It 6/10 I know deep down they won't win as they they punching above their weight!
Doesn't mean I don't want them to win.
It's call being a realist and calling it as you see it.
Letting your head rule your heart.
We will not get within 5/6 points of Kerry. Simply because they are better. as you will find out on Sunday

Sean o Rinn there a big difference in going there for a win and getting a win.
Be realistic it's a tall order. Just hope they don't get hammered because that's a real good Kerry side.

How do you know they're better what's your evidence
How have they done in relation to teams we've played
You love to complain and spread gloom and doom
I'll be there to support my team on Sunday

That Minor match in '74 was a semi-final and not a final.
Hopefully Cavan will put on a great show at HQ and surprise many. We are due one.

Funny isn't it Galway were going to hammer them as well who is in the simi final what was it 10+. There is no reason why they cannot continue and I have no reason to change my mind either. I am expecting a win for Cavan and if unfortunately they should lose I will not be on here supporting the knockers and bedgrudgers I can tell you. Big difference from 74 when they only had to beat London from the task ahead next Sunday.
All I can say continue to believe in yourselves and you will prevail. Nothing in this game is impossible.

Seemingly if you don't go for a Cavan win your seen as a begrudger.
My opinion is that we won't get within 5/6 points of Kerry
I'd love to be proved 100% wrong. But I won't be simply because I can judge a match without blue blinkers on .
There's an old saying about blow ins .......
