Senior championship final. A real tasty affair.

Ramor were the better team for much of yesterday but were lucky they weren't pipped at the post in the end. The ref played the alloted 6 minutes exactly, not allowing any additional time for the delays in injury time like the sending off which took about 2 minutes. Probably fair enough to give both teams another go and some players that may feel they didn't do themselves justice will get another bite at the cherry. Other calls though I can't fault him. He's only human. He was balanced and that's all you can ask for.

Well done both teams on an honest endeavor.

Some cracking goals. Brady's was the pick of the bunch. Please tell me there's footage somewhere so that I can relive them?

Was at game yesterday. Was in line with castlerahan s first goal. Goalie made a bo Bo but ball did not cross the line. Both umpires were behind the goals so could not have seen it . Didn't see the incident before Ramor s first goal. A flag was in the way. Otherwise hope e Flanagan is alright. Was an intriguing contest. Ramor will feel that they left it behind them . On ref felt Castlerahan just got frees easier than Ramor. Some finish by Sean Brady for Castlerahan s last goal. Thought Mackey held well until after the injury. Oisin o connell made a big difference when he came on. Castlerahan will probably be the happiest at the end so for that reason I will give them the nod for the replay. Ramor don't seem to be fit .

Ah no it would take a bit of balls to do that even though it makes perfect sense. Better keeper there on the line with better kick outs and takes 45s, seems a no brainer but then again it's a lot of added pressure on the young lad to be thrown in there even though he showed the ability to handle it at minor level

Will Castlerahan?

Kickouts very 1-dimensional straight up the middle in the first half when Ramor were cleaning up.

Thanks for that information I hope he recovers well. Yes Ramor looked to have very sore lads coming off the pitch yesterday for sure. Not much time to recover either thats for sure.

That's a good point. The Castlerahan sub keeper was the County Minor keeper but he favours the long booming kick also.

Also, thought moving Sean Brady so far back was crazy - he was full back for about 10 minutes and looked lost.

Sean brady has played that role throughout the championship campaign. Aido Cole was having an exceptional day - will he be as good the next day? As for Sean Brady the goal he scored was sheer and utter class. Any thoughts who will win the replay? I have a feeling Castlerahan will do it - they still haven't performed to their potential whereas I think Ramor have maxed out and on Sun as they did with Lavey faded very badly in the last 10-12 minutes of the game. credit to castlerahan to show the bottle to come from 6 points down and ultimately could of won it had dalys shot not dropped short. in 2001 when they won the intermediate title they drew their semi, drew the final and came back to win it.....hopefully they follow the same pattern this year and finish the job next sunday.hon the rahan!

Must admit it's the first I've seen of Castlerahan since last year's final, but never saw Sean play there before, and didn't think he looked at all comfortable there Sunday. But yeah, his goal is one of the best I've seen in a long long time and at that time in the game under that pressure, it was a cracking finish.

Who will win? I'm not too sure, Castlerahan were ever-so-slight favourites on Sunday and I'd probably make them the same again.

They'll have to pay 20 euro if they want to go to stand. And will leave before senior game.

Yeah we were lucky to get a draw and could have won it and lost it at the end . Don't think we will play as poorly the next day. Think we found our best team by mistake at the end. Oisin had a big impact and has to start the next day. Also Sean Brady is better further forward. Didn't think we got going really until the last 10 mins. I'd be happy to win by 1 the next day. Glad to see Noel reffing the game . He never done us any harm . Cumon the Rahan

Leaving it very late to call it off showed no respect for patrons.

Bad call....Prunty Pitches are supposed to be well drained. Game could have been moved to Kingscourt. I'd imagine there are no issues in Virginia or BJD for training today. Could easily have been called off earlier as the rain hasn't been an issue since lunchtime.
