Great prospect in store. Two teams with plenty of pace, like to play football and who move the ball well. Plenty of power in there too. Daly for Castlerahan is a bit of an animal in the middle. Likewise McEnroe for Ramor is a beast at club level whether it be in defence or bursting through the middle. McSweeney and Mackey playing very well for the Rahan. McSweeney is a very tidy footballer if unspectacular. He does the simple things very well and never wastes a ball. He definitely has added something to them. Mackey is a handful. Two Bradys up front for Ramor will make hay if let. There are big shouts to be made for both teams to come out on top.
But I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ramor by +4. Castlerahan for all their good play can be very wayward in their shooting. I think Ramor have a harder edge. They can grind it out but when given the opportunities can find their scores that bit easier.

Castlerahan for me . Think this will be the best attended county final in resent years . Think Castlerahan will have learned from last year s defeat to kingscourt. Mackey will win it on his own . Sheer class. Then oisin, mc sweeney ,daly ,writ, Flanagan s ,cooney,Coleman, and fergal reilly will have far too much for a novice Ramor team . Castlerahan by 6+. Come on the Rahan

Castlerahan were too cautious in last years final and only started to play in second half. They need to go for it from the start

If Castlerahan produce a performance on the day they win. Too much class and experience in their ranks. Ramor's day will come.

Castlerahan were four points up at half time. Then went negative.

The weekend is upon us and the excitement is building here in BJD really looking forward to Sunday and hopeful that the Castlerahan Squad can fulfill their potential in KBP. I can't see more than a kick of the ball in it with the men in Maroon & White bringing the Oliver Plunket cup. Big shout out to the minor teams of Knockbride & Crosserlough who will get the show on the road on Sunday. I will get my thanks in early to Sean who no doubt will have the park in top order as always. Those among us who line fields / put out and bring in the flags / sell tickets and generally get involved with our clubs know the amount of work / time it takes. The beauty of this is in being able to do this with our families and neighbours. I know that this current crop of Castlerahan players are among the most dedicated bunch to have ever worn the Maroon. I believe you can continue to do your families and community proud by believing in yourselves and each other and displaying all of the skill and hard work you have put in over many years.

what date is the ulster club fixture with the armagh winners ? Whoever knocks the partying on the head quickest will have a good chance of progressing. Surely the cavan winners will have a good chance of winning that game now that crossmaglen are gone. Will be no pushover. As even though cross have been the dominant force within Armagh, there are still some good club teams who continually make them battle for the cup each year.

The Hotel Kilmore SFC Final is on Sunday 9th October @ 16:00. That is the only game on my radar at the moment and whomever wins it will will provide a huge lift for their respective community and will have earned the right to celebrate as they choose. It is great to see both communities supporting their teams with Flags / Bunting and other decorations.

I think it could be a draw. Not much between the two teams. Castlerahan more experience but Ramor have better forwards. Hope the ref lets it flow.

Yeah please do. Thought ref was fine. Maybe a free out for first Ramor goal for push but should have being free in for Ado at end. Ref wasn't an issue. Exciting game I thought. Perhaps Ramor left it behind.

I don't think the ref had any great influence on the game today. He let it flow and it was a good game of football.
Not sure who will win the next day. Ramor were in the driving seat today but let it slip. It's not the first time I have seen Ramor fail to defend a lead.
I thought Ado Cole had a great game for Ramor. I think the man of the match award should be presented even if there is a draw. Last week Noel Mc govern should have got the man of the Match for killinkere.

so you think missing something like this, causing a goal that shouldn't have been, in a tight, close championship final is fine???

Obviously it's not fine but referees are going to make mistakes. I don't think anyone was talking about the ref after the game but more about what they had saw. Sean Bradys goal for example was as good a finish as you'll ever see right in the top corner. Ado Cole gave an exhibition in full forward play. A lot to admire about the game.

When you have time watch the replay of the first Castlerahan goal as well please despite Farrelly making a B***S of it try and watch what happened from that to the goal being pushed over the line so these two balance out each other that being the case.
Look Ramor should be sick this morning and again consider themselves lucky that they have another chance next Sunday.
The happiest people leaving the park yesterday were Castlerahan thats for sure. I hope young Flannagan is okay.

Should Ramor's first Black card have been Red card, should there have been a free against Ado Cole for push before he got it and passed to James Brady for Ramor's first Goal.
Should Ado Cole have been given a free at the end.
We witnessed a couple of cracking goals from Ado Cole and Sean Brady and a sensational comeback from Castlerahan from 6 points down with only 5 or 6 minutes of normal time left.
These replays will have the County Board laughing all the way to the Bank but will they follow what has been done at national level with a price reduction for Intermediate and Senior Replays?

Think it's a broken jaw. Ramor will probably be minus a few for replay. Seemed to have a lot of injuries at end.
