Kilmacud Crokes had minimal fuss as they booked their place in the last four of the Dublin senior football championship by trouncing Lucan Sarsfields with a 1-21 to 0-5 victory at Parnell Park this afternoon.
The 2023 champions made a brilliant start to this quarter-final clash and never looked back, with Shane Walsh’s superb long-distance shooting helping them to open up a 0-9 to 0-1 lead.
Crokes would go on to hold a 0-13 to 0-3 advantage at the half and the second-half would see Galway star Walsh netting the game’s only goal as they won out by 19 points in the end.
A fantastic Shane Walsh goal has sweetened the deal for Crokes as they widen their winning margin

Meanwhile, Templeogue Synge Street preserved their Senior 1 football championship status thanks to a 1-17 to 0-16 win over St Vincent’s at O’Toole Park this afternoon.
