Donegal manager Jim McGuinnes has announced his 26-man matchday squad for Sunday’s All-Ireland senior football championship semi-final against Meath at Croke Park.
Having not featured for the Ulster champions since their opening group game against Tyrone, centre half-back Caolan McGonagle is back available for the Tir Chonaill men and is named on the bench at number 20.
Donegal’s starting line-up sees Hugh McFadden and Michael Langan resuming their partnership at midfield while Ciaran Thompson is on ‘the 40’ with Michael Murphy leading at attack from full-forward where the 2012 All-Ireland winning captain is set to be flanked by Conor O’Donnell and Oisin Gallen.
Along with the returning McGonagle, skipper Patrick McBrearty, Niall O’Donnell and Daire O Baoill are all named on the bench for Sunday’s showdown with the Royals at headquarters (throw-in 4pm).
