Tipperary have appointed James Heffernan as their new senior camogie manager.
The Clonoulty/Rossmore clubman was ratified to a two-year term at last night’s camogie county board meeting in the Premier County and he succeeds Denis Kelly in the role.
Heffernan steered Clonoulty/Rossmore to an inaugural county senior camogie championship success in 2024 and brings with him a wealth of coaching and managerial experience to his new role.
This past season saw Tipp reach the semi-finals of the All-Ireland senior championship where they were beaten by eventual winners Galway, which proved to be Kelly’s last game in charge having previously led to the team to National League and provincial honours during his tenure.
