A crestfallen Glenullin manager Michael O’Kane claims his team totally underperformed in their All-Ireland club IFC final defeat to An Ghealtacht.
The Derry and Ulster champions were always playing catch-up after only scoring one point in the first half as their Kerry counterparts ran out comfortable 0-12 to 0-6 winners at Croke Park.
"We didn't do ourselves justice," O’Kane told BBC NI.
"We won both kick-outs, had more shots than them and more goal chances but were so poor in some things we've done. We gave them easy outs, turned the ball over in transition, so it was just a very strange game and we have nobody to blame but ourselves.
"It might sound silly to say after losing anAll-Ireland Intermediate final, but we feel we are only going to get better.
"They are one of the best teams in Ireland and we weren't on their level today. We left our worst performance for the last and that's something we will have to live with."
