Clare GAA clubs receive financial boost

Local clubs received a boost when it was announced some clubs are to benefit from government grants.
Sixmilebridge GAA is the main club to benefit as they received a sum of 250,000 Euros. The following clubs received grants:
: 250,000-Sixmilebridge GAA club (pitch development and floodlighting)
: 150,000- St Joseph's Doora Barefield GAA club (for the continued development of facilities at Gurteen, two junior pitches as well as all weather facilities)
: 100,000- Micheal Cusack GAA club (renovating the clubhouse and installing floodlights)
: 100,000-Scariff GAA club (building of an all weather surface adjacent to the main playing pitch)
: 90,000- Wolfe Tones Na Sionna GAA (pitch development)
: 75,000- Clooney/ Quin GAA club (pitch development)
: 60,000- Cratloe GAA club (electrical and plumbing works for dressing rooms)
: 50,000- Kilnamona hurling club (pitch and hurling wall development only)
: 45,000- Killanena GAA club (pitch and floodlighting)
: 30,000- Naomh Eoin GAA club (pitch and associated works)
: 30,000- Whitegate GAA club (netting and floodlighting works)
: 20,000- Coolmeen GAA (retractable netting and pitch works)
