The Limerick team to face neighbours Clare in the Munster SHC quarter-final shows thirteen survivors from the one that lost out at the All-Ireland semi-final stage to Kilkenny last season with injured defenders Mike Casey and Richie English being the absentees.

Barry Nash and Paddy O'Loughlin are the two new players in John Kiely's side which Declan Hannon leads from his customary centre back position.

The Treaty County open the defence of the provincial title against their Shannonside neighbours at Semple Stadium on Sunday (throw-in 3.45pm).

There's more than bragging rights and a crack at All-Ireland champions Tipperary at stake, with the game also acting as the Allianz Hurling League final.

Subs: Barry Hennessy, Conor Boylan, Jerome Boylan, Adrian Breen, Ronan Connolly, Seamus Flanagan, Robbie Hanley, Darragh O'Donovan, Brian O'Grady, David Reidy, Pat Ryan.
