Tuam Stadium will be the setting for the latest meeting of Galway and Mayo

A bonanza of national football and hurling league action took place today.

Round Six of the FL concluded with six matches in total going down for decision, two each from Divisions One and Two, as well as the Division Three meeting of Tipperary and Offaly, plus Limerick V Wexford in Division Four.

In the top flight, Galway entertained Mayo in a crunch all-Connacht clash at Tuam at 2pm, followed by the equally-pivotal all-Ulster meeting of Donegal and Tyrone in Ballybofey (4pm).

In Division Two, Clare welcomed a depleted Fermanagh squad to Ennis for a 1pm throw-in and Kildare had home advantage against Cavan at 2.

Tullamore was the venue for the Division 2A HL final clash of Antrim and Kerry (1:30), while Down and Derry crossed swords in the 3A decider at Armagh (2pm) and Sligo faced Leitrim at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan for the 3B title (1:30).
