London chairman Tommy Harrell will be able to attend this weekend's GAA Congress in Newcastle. Co. Down after his proposed 48-week suspension was rescinded by Croke Park.

London secretary John Molloy and player Brian Smyth also had proposed 48-week bans lifted, meaning former Westmeath hurler Smyth will be free to line out for the Exiles in next month's Connacht SFC opener against Roscommon.

Harrell, Molloy and Smyth flew to Croke Park last Thursday to attend a meeting of the Central Hearings Committee to appeal their suspensions, but were sent home without a decision being made. However, the three were notified on Monday afternoon that their cases had been dropped.

The suspensions were recommended after Smyth lined out for London in a NFL game against Leitrim on March 21 after his home club Killucan had claimed the correct transfer procedures hadn't been followed.
