Adult Football:
Training for the clubs senior and reserve footballers will commence next Wednesday night at the floodlit pitch. All players should be ready and on the pitch for 6:55pm sharp. Anyone unable to attend should contact Dermot Corry, Dessie O'Connor or Brendan McLaughlin. New players are very welcome.
Dublin v Tyrone Tickets:
Any club member that has ordered tickets for the Dublin v Tyrone National Football League game in Croke Park on Saturday 31st January should note that tickets will be distributed next Thursday night 22nd January @ 8:00pm in the Social Club.
2009 Club Membership Fees:
Everyone should note that the club membership fees for 2009 are now due for renewal. The following are the Club Membership Fees for 2009. Football: Individuals: £20.00. Couples: £30.00. Students - Over 18: £10.00. Pensioners & Under 18's: £5.00. Social: Individuals: £15.00. Couples: £20.00. Pensioners: £5.00. Fees should be paid to Club Registrar Aidan McGrath, Charlie Stewart or left at the Social Club. The closing date for payment of club fees is 1st March 2009.
Club Registrar Aidan McGrath will be in the Social Club next Thursday night 22nd January from 8-9pm to collect membership fees.
Youth Football:
The provisional dates for the start of Youth Football competitions are as follows: Under 14 League - Saturday 28th February. Minor League - Sunday 29th March. Óg Sport - 27th May. Juvenile League - 27th June. Under 13 League - 3rd September. More details on all fixtures will follow when they become available.
Coaching for the clubs Under 14 footballers will commence shortly.
The Pre season Boxercise course for the clubs Minor footballers at Lisnafin Community Centre will continue every Wednesday night. All players interested in playing with the club at Minor level in 2009 are very welcome to attend. New players are also very welcome to come along.
After Schools Gaelic Coaching Programme:
The club in conjunction with Strabane District Council are commencing a six-week after schools Gaelic coaching programme at Melvin Sports Complex. The coaching gets underway today (Thursday) 15th January from 4.30-6.30pm for 8-11 year olds and the cost is £5.00 for the six-week programme. Application forms are available from club Youth Officer Richard O'Neill, Secretary Aodhán Harkin or via Aiden Lynch at Strabane District Council. Alternatively participants can register on the day.
Ladies Football:
The Ladies Minor Football League will commence on Saturday 28th February. Details of training arrangements will be posted shortly. All female players are asked to ensure that their membership fees are paid as soon as possible.
The ladies are organising a few fund raising ventures for the coming months and more details on such will be announced shortly.
Teamtalk/O'Neill's Tyrone All Star Awards:
The Teamtalk/O'Neill's 2008 Tyrone All Star Awards Banquet will be held in the Great Northern Hotel Bundoran on Friday 20th February. Members and supporters can register their votes for the three club players, Kieran O'Kane, Warner Mullen and Martin McNulty by sending an email to

The deadline for voting is Friday 30th January 2009.
Tír Eoghain Scór Sinsear:
The first round of Tír Eoghain Scór Sinsear will take place on Saturday 7th February in Aughabrack. The club are appealing to anyone interested in helping out or participating to contact Seán (Mór) Ó Daimhín as soon as possible.
Club Committee Meeting:
The next meeting of the club committee will be on Tuesday 10th February @ 7:30pm in the clubrooms. All members are urged to be in attendance or to forward their apologies. All sub committees are urged to meet prior to the next monthly meeting.
400 Club Draw:
The 400 Club draw in conjunction with Sigersons Ladies and Shamrock's Hurling Club will be launched again at the end of the month and we are appealing for ALL club members to lend their help and support. The draw is £10.00 per month for ten months with £700.00 in prizes each month and an additional bonus draw on the final month for £7,000.00 in prizes. This is a great way of showing your support for the club and we greatly appreciate your contribution.
Alphalot:

All club members are urged to play their part in promoting the Alphalot that is a major source of revenue for the club. All Alphalot promoters are asked to ensure that they have their envelopes in the clubrooms by 8:00pm on a Monday night. Late entries will be entered into the following weeks draw. Club Alphalot Boxes are now sited in the following premises: McCauley's Shop, Fountain Street. Sheerin's Shop, Urney Road. Haughey's Shop, Ballycolman Lane, Christy's Bar, Lower Main Street, Sweeno-McGinty's Bar, Railway Road, Doherty's Spar Shop, Sion Mills, Supervalu, Main Street and the Fir Trees Hotel, Melmount Road.

Sympathy:
Everyone at the club extends their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the late Annie Boyle, Prospect Road, grandmother of club youth player Eimear Boyle. Sympathy is also extended to the family and friends of the late Tony McSorley, Springhill Park, the late Glenn Wilson, Newtown Street and also the late Eimear Sludden, Dromore on their recent sad bereavements. Mary queen of the Gael pray for them.
Sigersons Punters Club:
Sigersons Punters Club has now recommenced again with a strictly limited number of members so everyone please take note. Regular payments must be made otherwise members will be withdrawn and there will be no refunds made!
Social Activities:
Keep free Saturday 31st January for a big Tyrone night in Sigersons Social Club. If you aren't going to the Dublin v Tyrone NFL game at Croke Park then enjoy a great Tyrone night in Sigersons with the game being shown live on the big screen, food will be served and lots of Tyrone prizes to be won. Drinks promotions during the game followed by Live Music with Terry Boyle.
