Derrytresk / Dromid cases to be heard tonight
February 07, 2012
Members of Derrytresk and Dromid Pearses will plead for leniency in Croke Park tonight.
The clubs will appear before the Central Hearings Committee (CHC) and will try to have sanctions reduced from those recommended by the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) last week following the ugly scenes at their All-Ireland junior club championship semi-final in Portlaoise.
Derrytresk will be back in Croke Park on Sunday for their All-Ireland final against Clonbur of Galway, so they'll be desperately hoping that the proposed bans against eight of their players - including four starting regulars - are not enforced.
