Bernard Dunne parades his World Title belt in Croke Park
A talk from former world boxing champion Bernard Dunne inspired Dublin to beat Donegal in last Saturday's Cadbury All-Ireland U21FC final according to Dubs full back Rory O'Carroll.

Man of the match O'Carroll said last week's pep talk from Dublin fan Dunne instilled belief in the players.

"We dominated the first 20 minutes, but they dominated the 10 minutes before the break and got 1-2 to go in up by a point," the Kilmacud Crokes clubman said.

"We met Bernard Dunne during the week and he gave us a talk - he stressed one word and that was 'belief'. He told us to believe at all times.

"It was great to meet him - he's an inspirational character and he's been through a lot. Maybe it gave us that extra one or two per cent."

Meanwhile, Michael Murphy - who missed the injury-time penalty that would have given Donegal victory - showed his bottle by scoring from the spot for his club Glenswilly in a league match against Naomh Conaill yesterday.
