Colin Brady and St Galls celebrate with the Andy Merrigan Cup
Colin Brady never doubted St. Gall's ability to win an All-Ireland club football title, despite the many setbacks they have suffered in the past.

Speaking after yesterday's victory over Kilmurry-Ibrickane, the St. Gall's captain said: "It's been a very long time in achieving this.

"We've always known ourselves that we were good enough. The last time we were here, we left too much on the park. As a team we let ourselves down, so to have the opportunity to rectify it was great.

"Club football doesn't get any better than this. It's the end of a very long year and a successful one and I just couldn't be happier.

"When the whistle went four years ago here, I thought that was it. It would be too hard to get back. But we know what we're capable of when we play football. When we put our heads together, I felt anything was possible."
