Meath manager Cillian Farrell (blue top) watches the two Meath SHC semi final at Pairc Tailteann last Saturday.
Cillian Farrell will be reappointed Meath hurling manager for a third year at next Monday night's county board meeting.

The Edenderry man, who won an All-Ireland medal with Offaly in 1998, was recommended by the Meath county board's management committee at their meeting last night. He was appointed Royal County boss in October 2010 after managing Enfield/Baconstown outfit Na Fianna for three years.

Meath retained their place in the Christy Ring Cup for 2013 thanks to a 1-16 to 0-16 victory over Kildare last May.
