Fans invited to Offaly GAA Open Night

Offaly GAA will be hosting a Championship Open Night this Friday, May 10.

From 7pm in O'Connor Park, Tullamore there will be an open training session with the Offaly senior football squad under the guidance of manager Emmet McDonnell.

Offaly recently gained promotion from Division 4 of the Allianz Football League and they are busy preparing for their Leinster GAA Football championship quarter-final against Kildare on Saturday, June 1 at Croke Park.
All GAA fans, young and old, are invited to come along to O'Connor Park to have their photographs taken with players, obtain autographs and there will also be media interviews.

Posters and wrist bands will also be distributed on the night.

Meanwhile, at St Rynagh's Park Banagher (also this Friday, May 10), following the Kilcormac/Killoughey versus Birr encounter in the opening round of the Molloy Environmental Systems Senior Hurling Championship which throws in at 7.30pm, there will be a hurling open night and meet and greet with Offaly hurling manager Ollie Baker and members of his panel.

Offaly host reigning All-Ireland and recently crowned Allianz Hurling League Division 1 kingpins Kilkenny in the opening round of the Leinster Championship on Sunday, June 9 in O'Connor Park, Tullamore and that fixture is sure to attract a bumper crowd.

Young fans are encouraged to come along and meet their hurling heroes.

Sunday, June 9 - Leinster SHC quarter-final Offaly v Kilkenny in O'Connor Park, Tullamore.
