Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on Sunday 14th March. Numbers Drawn were: 1-16-17-24. Lucky Dip Winners: Irene Mone, Keady, Damien Lavelle Snr, Dunfelimy, Eanna Atkinson, Cashel, Pat and Mary Brannigan, Cashel and Odhran McArdle, Annyalla. Next week's Jackpot will be €5,200 and will be held in Atkinson's Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next.
Anyone wishing to prepay their yearly Shalotto can do so for €100. Please contact any Committee member.
Lotto Sellers: We still need more sellers for the weekly Lotto. Anyone interested please contact any Committee Member.
Junior B
We played our second fixture of the league last Sunday against Corduff in Cremartin. The first half was evenly contested with both sides level at half time but we managed to pull away from the opposition in the second half resulting in a convincing win on a score line of Cremartin 0-10 Corduff 0-5. Team & Scores: Brian McEneaney, Declan Mulligan, Martin McNally, Darren Flanagan, Paul Carragher 0-1, Conor Mulligan, Fergal Mulligan, Michael Morgan 0-1, Ciaran Carragher, John Tomany 0-4, Gerry Brennan, Gerard Malone, Kevin Atkinson, Stephen Bishop and Eanna Atkinson 0-1. Subs Used: Mark Bishop 0-3 and Gregory Flanagan.
Fixture: We are away to Inniskeen this Friday night under lights at 8.00 p.m. Please give your support.
U-12: Our U-12 team will start their campaign this Saturday against Magheracloone in Cremartin at 1:00pm. Please note the change in time.
Training
Training will continue on Tuesday at 8pm sharp for the Senior panel. All players are requested to attend.
U-16: Training this Thursday at 7.00 p.m.
Membership
In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GFC requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2010. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. Fees are Adults - €30 Youth - €15 and for a family €60.
Juveniles Membership: All juveniles must be registered at this stage. If any juveniles have not paid the membership fee we are appealing to all parents to please do so now. Our Registrar Seamus Eccles (086 2259258) is on hand to answer any queries and accept payment.
Sponsorship: We are delighted to announce the securement of Sponsorship for our Senior team. This will be announced in due course. However we have plenty more options in the Shape of Corporate or Private Sponsorship deals. Reserve team, juveniles, and other packages available with full exposure for patron guaranteed. Anyone interested please contact Chairman for details and all enquiries dealt with in strict confidence.
Supper Dance Monies
Any outstanding ticket money to be handed in to any Committee Member ASAP. If you attended the Supper Dance and you have yet to pay for your tickets, please make contact with your seller.
Monaghan v Kerry
We are intending to organise a bus and accommodation to Kerry for Monaghan's final league match against Kerry. If anyone is interested please contact Michael McGuigan on 086 8169275 as soon as possible as this will be subject to the definite numbers.
FIBS for Phones: If we as a Club and Community can manage to collect 500 old mobile phones we can exchange them for a portable Difibulator. We will be placing containers in local shops etc and we are asking everyone to help out. Any Committee Member will also be available to take them.
The Social Club is back on Thursday 25th March. Music by Pat McEntee. Adm €5. Refreshments Served. Come and enjoy!
ANTI PYLON: Thanks to all the people and organisations in our community who completed submissions to An Bórd Pleanála. Please retain your receipt from them as it may be required in future should Eirgrid seek changes to their planning application.
