Kilmessan's Stephen Clynch and Kildalkey's Sean Heavey have been rewarded for their excellent displays in this years Christy Ring Cup competition by been selected on the Ring Cup All Star XV for 2013. Meath reached the semi final of the competition only to lose out to eventual winners Down in a replay.

The awards will be presented at Friday night's GAA GPA All-Stars banquet sponsored by Opel at Croke Park.

GAA President Liam O'Neill said: "I'd like to offer my congratulations to all of our award winners on the achievement of making these three selections and being honoured for their skill and dedication on the field of play after a year to remember for hurling.

"I hope these awards shine a light on the superb skills of so many of our hurlers who grace these competitions year in, year out."
